Common questions
Can someone help my elderly parent through the airport?
Yes. Post your parent's flight on Flight Buddy, or look for a member already booked on the same route. When a traveller on the same flight accepts, you can chat and agree how they'll help, for example with check-in, boarding, transfers or immigration forms. Helpers are fellow members, not airline staff, so for wheelchair or medical needs also book the airline's own special assistance.
How do I send a parcel to India with a traveller?
Post what you'd like to send on Parcel Buddy, or find a traveller offering space on your route. Every item goes on a declared manifest and is handed over open so the carrier can check it, and prohibited items are never allowed. Pickup and delivery are confirmed with two six-digit handover codes that you hold.
Where can I ask about visas, OCI or airport transfers?
In the Community forums. Browse questions by topic or start your own thread; posts are reviewed before they appear. Answers come from members' own experience and are not professional or legal advice.
How do you keep members safe?
Members can verify their ID, rate each other after every help, and report or block anyone. Chat only opens once both sides accept a connection, full profiles stay hidden until then, and parcel handovers need the sender's codes. We can't guarantee anyone's conduct, so meet in public areas and use your own judgement.
Does it cost anything?
Joining is currently free. For flight help you can choose to offer a €25 or €50 thank-you, paid directly to your helper. BookMyTravelBuddy never collects, holds or processes that money.
